As Promised ...

I didn't blog until I got what I wanted. Obviously...I did :) I cut my hair AGAIN &&. I Love It. Nothing really special w| this post. Just wanted to show off the new 'do. Oh!! Okayyy!!! I've decided that I'm gonna make another change to myself && I'm uber excited!! It's a surprise so I can't tell you what it is yet. Just know that I'll be very happy once it gets done. Hopefully I can get it done this week (Friday. Saturday-ish) if Mommy doesn't try to stall. Also I've decided to make some changes to the blog. I'll be adding a few new elements so maybe you'll enjoy :)

i don't approve of [fuckery]

AT ALL!!! The situation that just happened w| my little brother && some neighborhood kids turned into one of THEE MOST fkced up situations I've ever witnessed (family-wise). Being that I am the person that I am...I try to play the fence when dealing with these other children and their parents. I take my brother's side but also try to get the full and entire story in its TRUTH. What just happened that my cousin (same age as Nile) witnessed the ENTIRE situation, told her mom, and moms said don't say anything or get involved.

Understandable. But when there are five kids, all accusing my brother of doing something that he may or may not have done, I expect to get the story in its entirety. Being that aunty said to stay out of it, I could not defend my brother against these fve kids & a parent as adequately as I would have liked while also maintaining a fair balance. Only after these people left from my front door & Mommy came home did I get additional details that would've been nice to know beforehand.

My whole point, if you say we are a family & that we stick w| each other through thick and thin, why is it that information about the incident in the neighborhood was left out purposely? But we are family? As I get older, I realize even more that BLOOD AIN'T ALWAYS THICKER THAN WATER. Obviously I'm pissed & so is Mommy.

So as I stated on Twitter "fkc it. ima just look out for me && mines kuz that was ohdeee fcked up."

I swear I love this girl. Shanna (JROTC) already started a donation in PHS and got it approved by the "higher-ups". If you go to Piper High School or an adult that lives in the area, PLEASE donate whatever you can. If you haven't heard of the earthquake in Haiti, get from under the rock you're sleeping in & get it together. I've never mentioned it on the blog before but I am of Haitian descent. Mom was born in US and Dad was born in Zaire. But the family is Haitian.

I am all the way horrified with the images and videos I've been seeing. One of the very graphic ones I saw made me instantly cry & made me feel the need to vomit. It was that bad.

Right now I'm watching CNN in search of information. My cousin is still missing some of her family but she's slowly coming to terms with whatever the outcome will be. We are still hoping for the best, though.

My best friend is worried because of the extra damage the after-shocks may cause being that her Dad & other family members are still out there. Once again, we are hoping for the best.

insomnia is a mofo!! its about to be 3am && i'm still up. i'm actually supposed to be finishing some work for school but thats on hold for a minute. this evening was... idk how to describe it. but my boy cousin got drunk and started talking out his mouth. no problems though because thats my nigga. he just called me all types of lazy though. even though i know im lazy, i hate how this nigga went about saying that ish. but yeah then dude had the nerve to pass out on my bed & not wanna wake up. smh. get it together.

So I'm sitting here drinking my tea && just thinking. My friend Damone (Moan) texted me and we were talking about poetry. I never knew he began writing since 6-years-old. He has poems in storage. Honestly, I was blown away. I don't know anyone personally who has written THAT many poems y'know. It also made me realize ONCE AGAIN that I am slacking on my pieces. I have tons of ideas but I either start & don't finish OR just don't start at all. I think if anything I'll post a few from last year & earlier on here. Then from there I'm gonna try to post any new piece that I actually complete. Whadayathink??

First Blog for 2010

Okay so this is my first REAL blog for 2010. Its been about 2 weeks so yeahh .... UPDATE! Both the laptops in mi casa were not working. My charger was broken for about a month && mom's laptop basically crashed because of some stupid virus :(

OMG!! Yesterday one of the freakiest things ever happened. Two of my friends got a phone call from (666) 666 - 6666 during last period. Then today one of them played a message the number left, which said "You're going to die." FREAKY!!! I told both of them to stay prayed up.

Umm so for the first week of school in 2010 I decided that I would dress real girly && I actually liked doing it :) Soon enough I'll have enough stuff to continue the look ... Here are a few pics:
